Prof. Dr. Hans-Wilhelm Windhorst is the scientific director of the Science and Information Center for Sustainable Poultry (WING) at the University of Vechta. Until 2011, he was also the scientific director of the Lower Saxony Competence Center for the Food Industry (NieKE). The internationally renowned agricultural expert is an advocate of modern agriculture. One of Windhorst's research focuses on innovation and diffusion research.
