Digital solutions for different fields
Tobias Menne will participate in the panel “Agronomic Data”.
Programme 2020xarvio offers digital products based on a plant model platform and provides independent field zone-specific agronomic advice that enables farmers to produce their plants as efficiently as possible. The xarvio products SCOUTING, FIELD MANAGER, and HEALTHY FIELDS are used by farmers in more than 100 countries worldwide. In an interview with Tobias Menne, we talked about how digital solutions can help to produce more sustainable and adapt to individual conditions that exist in different countries.

What solutions does xarvio offer?
Xarvio delivers very practical benefits for the farmer today: Better use of crop protection, better results, higher yields, solutions for all farmers. For farmers in India, whom we support with our xarvio™ SCOUTING app, but also for farmers in Germany, to whom we offer our HEALTHY FIELDS product and thus crop protection as a result.
How does xarvio shape the future of agriculture?
Society wants more sustainable products, often more regional products, and wants to know exactly how they are produced, including the environmental footprint of the products. We believe that xarvio can resolve this trade-off between sustainability and yield through digitisation. At the same time it is very important to us to make life easier for farmers.
What do you expect from Farm & Food? Who do you want to meet?
I would like to meet people at Farm & Food who have their own strong opinions about the future of agriculture. An opinion that will hopefully be different from mine, and then find a good way forward in an exciting discussion.
