Marie Populus is co-founder of the community-driven supermarket SuperCoop Berlin, a consumer cooperative that aims to create a new consumer experience based on participation and transparency. This project is part of a movement spreading throughout Europe. She is convinced retailers have a key role to play in incentivizing sustainable consumption and production practices. Prior to that, she worked as Sustainability Lead for an urban farming company and for several research projects on farmers' cooperatives in developing countries.
